APPEAL TO TRACE VICTIM OF ASSAULT – GLASGOW CITY CENTRE

Detectives at City Centre Police Office are appealing for information following an assault in Glasgow City Centre.

Around 4.35pm on Saturday, 13 June, a report was made to police of a man being assaulted by two other men on Argyle Street, near to Hope Street in Glasgow City Centre. The victim was assisted by members of the public.

Officers attended however there was no trace of the victim of the assault. He is described as aged between 45-55 years and of medium build. He was wearing a black beanie hat with white writing, a navy hooded top, dark blue jeans and black trainers with white soles. He was carrying an orange plastic bag.

Detective Lambie from City Centre Police Office said: “We have been carrying out enquiries and gathering CCTV footage to help us gather information on those involved.”
