Detectives at Drumchapel are appealing for information following the attempted murder of a 28 year-old man on Tuesday 20 August 2019.
Around 6.30pm on Tuesday afternoon, the 28 year-old man was walking through a grassy area between Glenkirk Drive and Kinfauns Drive in Drumchapel, when he was approached from behind by a man who seriously assaulted him.
Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds. Hospital staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Detective Constable Jennifer Boyle from Drumchapel Police Station, said: “Enquiries are at an early stage into this attack and we are working to establish more information with officers carrying out enquiries in the local area and gathering CCTV footage.
