Chance of a lifetime for Black Acid Mavericks as they headline for legend Alan Mcgee!

Local Band the Black Acid Mavericks have scooped the chance of a lifetime to headline a gig at 02 academy infant go legendary music mogul Alan McGee. The manager of of bands such as The Happy Mondays and Oasis will be holding a Q and A in Academy 2 on 19th September and has invited the local lads a chance to share the stage with them along with a band McGee manages ‘The Shambolics’.

Leads singer of the Mavericks Chris Dawson is delighted. ” It is a great opportunity to plays in front of one of the most influential people in the music business. We have sold a lot of tickets and hope to make a good impression.”

McGee the founder of Creation Records is on a UK tour and will be quizzed by local Promoter Steve Wraith

Tickets are on sale now from the 02 Academy Box office priced at £15 entry or £25 meet and greet
