Hamilton Accies have secured another sponsorship deal that will see a further five-figure sum of cash ploughed into the football club.
The Scottish Premiership outfit have teamed up with new alcohol brand Nero Vodka over the next five years.
And the package deal will see the money, said to be in the region of £50,000, go towards supporting the club’s successful youth academy further as well as backing their community charity Blameless.
Hamilton Accies chief executive Colin McGowan told the Advertiser this week: “We are absolutely delighted to unveil our new partners, Nero Vodka, in a deal that will support our youth footballing set-up and our much-loved Blameless charity, set up to help and support children and families across Lanarkshire who have been affected by addiction.
“Nicola and Johnny Morrissey are fantastic advocates for responsible drinking through their company and we are delighted to welcome them on board at Hamilton Accies Football Club.”
Nicola Morrissey, CEO of Nero Vodka, said: “We are all about responsible drinking and therefore we signed up to the Drink Aware campaign upon launching our new product.
“We were keen to show our support for anyone who backs this, or indeed helps those affected by alcohol addiction, in a bid for us to be able to give a little something back, and therefore we looked in to supporting an organisation which had the same morals as ourselves.
“After doing a little investigating we found Hamilton Accies, and we were overwhelmed with the work they do in their community to help those who have been affected by addiction.
“We got in touch with Colin and we were delighted to offer a sponsorship deal that will benefit Blameless and the youth academy.
“We urge people to drink Nero Vodka, and indeed any alcohol, responsibly.”
